Newcomers are welcome to attend events unless mentioned otherwise. Don't worry about athletic ability, talent, or previous movement experience. Just do the best you can and enjoy moving your body.

Some additional information about the upcoming event:
There is an advanced workshop on Friday, May 28th and the general gasshuku begins Friday evening May 28th. Housing and meals are being held at Woolman Hill Retreat Center while keikos will mainly be held at the Shintaido Farm.
Gasshuku dates:
Friday evening, May 28th
to Monday afternoon, May31st
Please arrive at Woolman Hill for the gasshuku on Friday evening, May 28th, where we will congregate for registration, dinner, socializing and settling in.
Opening ceremony and the first keiko will be early Saturday morning, May 29th.
Advanced Workshop
Friday, May 28th
Open to Shintaido Graduates, Karate/Bojutsu Shodan and above.
Housing information will be sent shortly.
Examinations
We are able to offer many levels of exams at this Gasshuku!
Shintaido up to Instructor level
Karate up to Nidan level
Bojutsu up to Nidan level

If you are flying in for the gasshuku,
Bradley International in Hartford, Ct is one hour by car from Shintaido Farm/Woolman Hill,
Boston's Logan Airport is two and a half hours by car and New York airports are 3-4 hours away.
We are excited to be gathering with you in a short time, reconnecting in our community and having a great weekend of practices together!
